Not forgetting Neasden, Cricklewood, Kensal Rise, Queens Park, Dollis Hill and everything else north of the Harrow Road, east of the A5 and south of the Brent.

Just discovered the 5th and final series of Gotham has landed on Prime. Enjoyed the previous series about the early days of the pre Batman Bruce Wain, Penguin. Joker, et al. Very dark and set in a twilight world almost devoid of colour so quite gothic. Not sure the actor who pays Wain works but Sean Pertwee who plays his ex SAS minder is an improvement on the usual Alfred role. Oswald Cobblepot, the Penguin, makes the series.

Can't recall but I suspect my old Sec Mod school, John Kelly in Neasden, could well have had the MCC logo too.

Yes the geographical county does still exist and you are right Willesden was once in Middlesex. As was everything on the north side of the Thames from Staines in the west to the river Lea in the east, including the two major cities of London and Westminster. Middlesex County Hall is in Parliament Square. Incidentally, showing my age here, I can remember some school books in infants/junior schools(?) having MCC stamped inside the covers.

Wembley is in Middlesex and always has been, still has an out of London post code. It was brought in to London when the council was merged with LB Willesden in 1965 to form Brent Council, pissing off Willesden residents. They were all rich nobs the north side of the River Brent and North Circular Road.

Smallest at the front of the queue biggest at the back, otherwise it won’t work.

Gary O’Neil could be available after the weekend when they lose to Southampton. He did well when he first joined Wolves, a bit like MC did last season. Not forgetting his contribution in the play off final.

Premature Burial and the Pit and the Pendulum. Saw them both at the cinema back then and still make me shiver today.

Tonight BBC4 and iplayer at 10.00 a reshowing of "Threads" first shown in 1984. No idea if it stands the test of time, but was a harrowing watch back then. I did wonder if it was the start of the end of the cold war.

Just discovered the original Twin Peaks is on Paramount+ and watched the first two episodes. Not seen it since the early 90s. Got to be one of the best and strangest dramas ever made. All the characters are just so spot on and of course there's Audry Horne. You can just smell those Douglas Pines.

Team in progress? I suspect this is it and can’t see Chair making much difference. Every team we play closes us down so much quicker, we make it too easy for them.

"Next time this lot offer to piss off and play in a European Super League by themselves it might be best to just let them go." Yes and don't let them back when it goes tits up.

Enjoyed WD/Daryl Dixon but just watched the first two episodes of The Dead City spin off and, of all things, the teaming up of Negan with Maggie. Far more harrowing.

Yes Cricklewood Lane just round the corner from the Broadway. Which reminds me that’s where we changed buses to Golders Green for the Christmas pantos at the Hippodrome.

The Granada was next to the White Hart pub corner of High Road and Church Road. Think it became a bingo hall. Willesden was lucky for cinemas, Ritz Neasden, Coliseum and Odeon Harlesden, Gaumont Cricklewood, and the Grange, Essoldo and Gaumont State Kilburn.

A council house project while we ground share with the bus stop team and play in red and white hoops to match the colour scheme?
