if we have a squad of shiny sellable players it will fail , same as at the start of the season got bummed at cov and went lets ditch the project the next day because we are gonna be hammered if this carries on much longer.
u have to cherry pick say two shiny sellable players and bed them into a half decent side to make it work not do what we have done twice now and chuck them in at once watch themn slowly loose any confidence , talent they might have by gettiung hammered each game . its got to be a mix of older and young not all in with the kids , it wont work as we well know .

be intresting to see if there are any stats on how many players who are used as subs succome to hamstring inuires compared to starters , subs dont warm up prop most of the time they spend there time having a chat or watching the game while doing the odd stretch or two. |

if you get chance , find the interview with the macclesfield chairman , the club basically saved his life , bought while on a 3 day bender , partying way way to much , seems a bloody nice guy who struck lucky with buying the club . |

its a shame if field does go as hes a better option than most we presently have in midfield id say . esp on defensive work when played in his actual correct postion ,
happliy take the money for varanne and dembele though.
obv the project is to buy cheap sell big , but u still need then old timers in the sqaud to help when things get tough |

Had a hirecare for the day as mine was in for a service , huge merc jeep for two of us , parked in the road opposite the ground perfect for a qukk get away . Nope come out flat tyre totally flat stuck some air in flat in five mins , obv. With a flash huge merc jeep had no spare tyre .time was getting on run the rental company , can’get u home but will be about 4 hours before a truck can come and pick u up so that’s looking around 230am before we even leave . Ansa was a firm no from me , guy said give me half hour rung me. Back and drrove a new car from East Midlands airport so we could get back to London ,and yeah the game was awful as well |

On the subs subject wasn’t it Barnsley a few season back who had two run the ares out of your self for 45 mins then two more which they swapped over just after half time to do the same thing all four played high press in ur faces for 9o mins we struggle to get a press on for 20 mins before we are blowing. Out of our arses this season |

Think it one of the issues , the bringing in of a defensive coach was rumoured to be another issue .
the saito from this season isnt the same one we had last season thats for sure.
and add to that stev bould allegedly reports to nourry and i presume the same for the methodology coahces do the same it and always has been a weird siutation sine they brouhgt it in.
i can imagine its like a school assemby when it comes to picking the squad on a thursday.
please raise your hands if present.
those who arent aval please bring a note from your dept of methodolgy and ben williams saying why u cant play .

excellent post hunter , in most clubs i would agree but it seems since hes come back to gain a promotion , asto what his new role actualy is god knows .
id also says it will affect us with trying to bring players in if a once so called fully fit players would be thinking , hang on are the training methods going to wrke my career.if williams has taken over a more senior role within the club what is it ?
if hes not directly involved with the day to day physio aspects what is he doing ?
we also have the new found methodology coaches at the club wasnt part of there remit was to identify training regimes for certain players ? |

more hamstring injuries are mainly down to the type of football being played id say , fast intense running compared to slow build up play being the previous fashinable way of playing , somebody stated there are more hamstring inuries now than there was in 2011 i think was the year quoted , how much had football changed in that period ?
what style of football was in at the time ?
it wasnt the type of football mainly being played at the moment high impact running for longer periods , i say it was more posssion based so a slower overall game.
the comments about ben williams basketball side line last season is relevent in this , there injury record was one of the worst way about the norm i remember reading
ours is pretty bad as well , when he was at the fans forum this year , he couldnt have come across as being less intrested if he had tried , totally diff to how he was when he joined us . when he was unveiled as the new sports science guru i got chance to speak to him after the event finished really nice guy seemed clused up and approchable , his success is cycling thats where hes made his name and is sort of living off that since then .
do his methods work ?
From his time with us and his brief spell in basketball id say its prob not suited to this type of sport , thats not being against him hes just been found out to be the wrong choice for the job hes doing by the issues we have right now, in most jobs ur judged on results no matter what you do by suddnely moving an obvious hamstring injury to burrell as being a contact injury and using the stats from the kids teams upwards to keep his stats low is trying to hoodwink the fans and the owners big time ,slightly insulting as well id say but maybe thats just my take on things . |

having more money wont change the fitness issue at the club , that needs a. full clear out from the very top to the bottom, so unless the money is going on pay offs that wont make much difference. as theres seems to be a very close relationship between the ceo and fitness guru id be suppirsed if thats going to change anytime soon. |

this is it at pres we are just outsdie the top 6 , tough games coming up even tougher with the players aval so likely to be back to our spiritual place of 16th by then.
well aware of PSR thanks , but as mentioned earlier we seem to have soem aval cash aval 4.5 for ronnie , possibly 5/6million coming in for varanne , wages lower than before, not got a running total of what we have sold kelman etc and what we have spent ,
if we are prudent and dont tie ourselves to another dembele clause being triggered after four games contract , im sure we could bolster the squad till may
with the club pushing back the return date by weeks or in some cases months becasue us fans cant handle that info that he was always going to be back longer than the club say , its hard to say which route to go. |

this has always been one of the problems hes set up for a run in the team and sadly lasts 2 games then pulls something , not sure what his longest run in the team/ squad has been since he broke through, you would hope the club has set aside a specilised training programme for him to help him get to a decent level of fitness , |

which ever way u its a risk , from what ive seen so far on vale , honestly not seeing much , has an eye for a pass but zero pace , esp if played out wide . hes also when fit not made the swaud on a few occasions recently esp sunday presume he was fit ?
kolli is the big one can he last 4/5 games without breaking down which has been his biggest issue sine he broke into the team , did a great shift sat but was blowing out his arse after 60 mins. can he be relied on to last until burrell comes back ?

as we found out early in the season if you chuck untired kids in on mass and u loose a few get hammred in a few hows that helping them players get better. surely u pick the right time to give one or two some time on the pitch to bed in not just say right show me what ur worth and pray for the best , totally agree we need to blood young players thats the way forward for us but chucking half a first team of kids out for a month or so isnt helping anyone esp the player , needs to be a balance which means ur still fairly competitive but not cannon fodder as well .
at the moment with the impact injuries we have we are pretty much bare bones esp for options off the bench |

Think these days the dogs used are more likely for flares etc not drugs , was told at boro a few years ago that anyone who has a vape is likley to be stopped as well as the dogs struggle to know the diff between vapes and smoke bombs and flares.
Top Tip , if your travelling with somebody to a game and want some fun drop some dog treats in there pocket before you go in , fido can never resist a meaty treat while on duty. |

think this season the diff is we do have some leway for players without emtying the bank acct as we did with austion etc , the nourry production line might bring in some money , Varanne in jan, prob madson in the summer , after they go not sure who are next paycheck will be though , edwards maybe in a few years .
jan isnt. agreat time for perm deals though but wouldnt like the season to fizzle out just becuase our fitness guru isnt actually any good.
quick question wa ourt injuries this bad last season when he was doing his weekly zoom appts every tuesday afternoon ? |
