Although the club made no move to confirm the rumours that had started we have been informed that FIFA rules clearly state that you cannot move in and out of a country in the same season. As Chris signed for his side in Ireland this term then he cannot leave Irish football until the end of the season.

Of course the story of Todd coming back was a rumour and it's also worth pointing out here that we are informed that James Thomas, although being watched by Norwich on a few occasions has not agreed any terms with the first division side and a purchase of a new house in Swansea would suggest that he is looking to stay at the club for longer than just the immediate future.

Meanwhile, Rochdale have confirmed that winger Keiron Durkan will be signing for Swansea today although no confirmation has yet been received from Swansea at the time of writing. As divulged to you on Sunday, Flynn made Durkan high on his list of targets and has moved to strengthen the squad in time for the visit of Bury on Saturday.
