Saints kick off their first season in the third tier of English football in fifty years with the visit of Millwall followed by a trip to Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield the following week. After that its Swindon with a midweek away fixture, but this apart most of the decent away trips are on a Saturday. Other fixtures to look out for are the trip to Charlton on Sept 12th Exeter at home on Boxing Day and April which has three plum away games at Brighton, Bristol Rovers & Yeovil, then Gillingham away on May 1st before the season finishes on May 8th with a home game against Southend. A crucial season for Saints, now they can see where they are going in regards of fixtures, we just need to find out where the Club is heading off the pitch.
