Pelle & Cedric Again Missing For Trip To West Ham Sunday, 27th Dec 2015 11:59 Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Pelle & Cedric Soares were both missing against Arsenal through injury and will not be fit to return to the squad to travel to West Ham United. Speaking after the glorious victory against Arsenal Ronald Koeman has clarified why Pelle and Cedric missed the game and that they will not be fit for the game at Upton Park on Monday evening. “I don’t think Graziano is back for Monday. Both players will be out for Monday. They need more time and we have to see how long everything takes until they are back to full training,” Koeman said after the win against Arsenal. "Graziano is struggling for a few weeks now with his knee. We had a plan to give him some days off doing treatment and no training. “We have players and it gives them a good competition. We know the qualities of Shane — he’s a different attacker to Graziano. “Shane was fantastic . He’s fast and he’s always looking for space behind the defenders. He did a great game.” Koeman does think though that the victory against Arsenal will aid the recovery of those who played, who now face only a short time before the trip to East London to face the gunners. “It’s about 45 hours between. On Sunday we will decided which players we start. I think first of all it’s the physical state of the players,” Koeman added. “It was a tough physical test against Arsenal and we have to recover, but it’s no problem because they are good physical football players. “We have to be prepared for Monday — that makes it a little bit easier with the result of Saturday.” Photo: Action Images via Reuters Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
