Would love this to be true, a very good modern centre back who is comfortable in possession and can score a few. Possibly better than everything we have bar ash, and more highly rated than victor winyama ever was. Thumbs up from me

My tip would be not to believe all the news, as much of it is proven to be nonsense. Like those who will be disappointed if we sign Montero, as it means our interest in Payet will be ended. We don't know if the club was ever interested in Payet!

As for this particular rumour, I know nothing about the player. My only misgiving would be if he could handle the step up from Scotland to the Prem, although he has at least played in the Eredivisie.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Or we end up with 40 players ..... can't see this one coming off ..... plenty of Chico and Amat in the official pre-season pics and Ash and Bartley have new deals. 4 CBs is enough.

We've go as much chance as signing him for £6 million as anyone does of signing Wilfried Bony for £15 million.

If he goes, it'll be for a similar sort of fee as they got for Wanyama which I can't see us paying.
