They aren't from Chicago Sir they're from Rockford ,Illinois which is North of Chicago but let's not worry about trivialities.

Haha - just saw them last summer at the Richardson Wildflower Festival, less than 2 miles from my house.

Was disappointed to see that Bun no longer tours with the band, but they played just about everything I wanted to hear, including I Can't Take It and Borderline - two personal favorites because Todd Rundgren produced that album.

They played "Need Your Love" and my favourite "Never Had A Lot To Lose" that night too.

I like you.

Superb wasn't it.

I noticed the first 2 were on BBC Four but it looks like the rest are just going on iplayer every Sunday. Strange.

It's so strange that they're showing episodes 1,2,7 & 8 on BBC4 and episodes 3,4,5 & 6 on iplayer.
That's the BBC for you.

Thanks. Sounds like we share some of the same tastes.

And yes, despite living almost my entire life in Texas, I loathe country music.

Oh wow, how could I have missed that one???

My college years in Austin (1987-1991) really had a big influence on my musical taste; I started exploring eclectic, less commercial rock n roll. Was the beginning of my Senior year when Stevie Ray died, which broke my heart.
