Wish we had a gung-ho, braveheart character who looks out for the fans and speaks from our point of view in interviews to create that connection with the terraces. Where's our hero fheor t Dale supporters? The guy who's persona could be developed from a commercial angle too? Jones was our last. We don't have one now. I've just listening to Hendo's interview. Bit wet really. he talks about a successful career and season. He's done brilliant this year, but states he's doing it for his teammates, not one mention for the fans or the town. It an insuler team I suppose that work for each othe,r but it would be a nice change for a character who can bond with the fans. |  |
