Under the bridge opposite, there must have been 10 cars I saw with tickets on. Apparently you can't park there during certain hours?

If you are parked illegally, and you obviously were, expect a ticket. What are you complaining about. There are sufficient areas, spaces for everyone to park. Paying a fiver is preferable to picking up a fine.

Parking ticket on 11:38 - Jan 19 with 2272 views | Senhin | There are plenty of culdisacs and whatnot with no parking restrictions that are never close to full within a 5-10 min walk, but people are too lazy for that so park ruining grass or on double yellow lines because they are the most important person and it should be their right to park closer than anyone else. Why should they have to walk with the peasants.
| Did you see that ludicrous display last night? |

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Not really. Since the Lib has opened I have parked down there around 200 times for free = £1,000 if paying a fiver a time. In this time I have picked up four tickets* at around £35 each = £140. Winner winner chicken dinner *One of which was last night - the b@stards!!

Thats one way to look at it. On another note I was ticketed outside my own house at 7.30 am this morning. It's the first time its happened in 8 years of living there. Money grabbing w*****s.
Parking ticket on 15:50 - Jan 19 with 1927 views | Andy1300 | there were a load of cars parked on the pavement on cwm level road that had tickets. Rightly so as athey were forcing you to walk on the road. Park legally and don't get a ticket

It's not a question of legality, it's an arbitrary decision by some private company or council as to where you can and can't park at a particular time

I would contest that it is not always arbitrary. Road condition change. My family used to own a hotel on Newton road circa 1960 - 1970 and we have pictures that indicate there are no yellow lines there and no cars...... [Post edited 19 Jan 2016 16:21]

Agred,my office is right next door to the staduim and has a large carpark,I don't use it however as I can get home quiker ( to Rhossili) if I park in Gendros and walk down then my customers who use my carpark and live in Morriston!

Learn the regs and win nearly every time. Should get around a 95% win, even starting out Or park in "legal" areas (tip, they can nearly all be legal) Council office carparks are a good one to park in. That fuks 'em up, when you challenge them on regs. Always used to use County Hall when I was shopping in Swansea or watching us down the Vetch (when I wasn't drinking and using the busses.) Council only look after land on behalf of the taxpayer- they're not allowed to own land and therefore can't charge!
