Investment on the playing front 20:11 - Sep 18 with 3332 viewsDarran

Reading what Swanzay and Icey just said in another post just goes to show how shit things are on the playing front investment wise.

Ten of our starting line up toddy were here last season and when you take into consideration the "investment" from new owners, the £150million tv money and the profit we've made from Ayew and Williams the alarm bells should be going off big time.

Still no excuse for playing like a bunch of c*nts though. There'll be worse quality sides out there playing bettter.

one does wonder if ash and ayew jumped ship as they saw the writing on the wall with the lack of investment.

We are as we are because they were allowed to jump ship without us getting in adequate replacement.

I agree that we are doing things on the cheap, but a big addition in my mind is where is the hunger and professional pride from the players.

Absolutely Johnny there's not but there's more highly paid players that put a shift in throughout the League than our lot though.

Agree again, it does happen at other clubs as well, but we've both been around long enough supporting the Swans to forgive lots of things but lack of commitment isn't one of them

I think Ayew was always going to be looking for a club, he's definitely in it for the money, but in fairness he never pretended he wasn't.

Ash though, I honestly think he jumped ship as soon as we didn't sign Joey. There was no ambition being shown from the club, he wanted one last move. At the time I thought it was a good deal for us, how wrong was I.

Just starting reading so haven't caught up yet.

Players have to take responsibility, whoever plays, and at least support each other.

It is a team game after all.

Time for the "investors" who are going to take us to "the next level" to answer the question. Chris Wathan get on to it for the sake of the club you love.

Nothing to do with the 125k a week West Ham are paying Ayww then plus another msssive signing on fee.
As for Ash he had been itching for a move for a few years and would have gone if he had a chance.

We should have easily £60-70m in the pot with transfers, investment and tv money. As Darran says, where's the money gone?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
