Some proper annoying adverts on here recently. On the computer there was one that kept playing as a video and even my adblocker couldn't get rid of (no matter how much I tried) and on my phone it's taken to constantly redirecting me to another site for some shite, like you'd expect from one of those dodgy links on Facebook. Not good.

Yep, same here, wants sorting cos it's proper annoying. Since this site has become more advert saturated, it affects the text on threads and is difficult to read on android.

No matter where you live in the world,adverts are the most annoying,invasive,noisy,intelligence insulting parts of our lives that none of us fooking well want anyway. American commercialisation that we all have to suffer nowadays,the mute button on my remote certainly gets a workout every day.

Is it something to do with your device settings? I've no problems like this whether or not I'm logged in, and I don't have (so far as I'm aware!) an ad blocker running.

Is it affecting other sites you visit - are you noticing more ads appearing there than you have previously had on those sites? I picked up a bug once that flooded a laptop with ads and which defied my limited capabilities to dislodge - had to take it to the local IT chappy to sort out.

I am on Mozilla Firefox with the inbuilt Ad-Blocker enabled and I get Zero Ads.
