All these daily papers getting praised for their investigative professional journalism or have they just had half an hour with the trust,I like the one where Owen is reported sunbathing on top of the stadium. Sounds like they have run out of ideas to me,why not contact Val and speak to the horse himself. Wonder if the bloodthirstyperoni bullys were oiling old Owen up. Can just picture it.

I think he's referring to the amount of press coverage the club, the Oyston, and today's game are getting.

It's not that hard to understand :

1. It is a classic FACR3 tie of a type the media love

2. there is a twist in the story

3. The Trust have been assiduous in making that twist well known

All the media outlets love a fresh angle on these things, this tie provides one. Some of them are doing a good job of covering it, ably assisted by our Trust Committee. No mystery.

Icon? It's all Rio Ferdinand's fault.

Is it possible even for a second that you could try to be a little less condescending?

Well done! Slap on the back and all that.

Yes was thinking that

‘'There is real anger from some towards those who still attend who, in their opinion, have divided the fan base and abandoned the team,' said Blackpool Supporters' Trust chair, Christine Seddon.’

There’s balance for you.

Plenty of stuff new to me in the Mail article.

Even the Sun piece was good.

Good work by BST.

It wasn't supposed to be condescending. I just feel that if we are getting coverage it 's a combination of hard work that goes largely unseen plus the luck of the FAC draw. No mystery.

So the attendees have abandoned the team?

It’d been nice to see a few words from BST like tolerance towards people’s views. We don’t need all this divisiveness.

Yes, divisive again unfortunately.

I won't ever criticise anyone for their choice. Anyway people took to NAPM at many different poihts in time, so was it wrong at one point and right at another then ? And who gave themselves the power to decide any of this.
Enjoy the game today folks, whether in the ground, at home or joining the protest 👍

Yes, Good work from BST.

Think a couple of the journalists, Jack (Mail) & Helen (Sun) are/were local.

I'm guessing that the press have only used a small fraction of Christine's interview(s).

Nothing wrong with having allies in the media. Too often the other way round
