...is back in town. Love it!

Farage mobilising against the Tories. The DUP about to "reluctantly" agree to a deal which goes against their core values but one that would see them enjoy EU benefits long after leaving (along with a healthy bung for agreeing). Corbyn his usual ineffective self.

Never a dull moment.

Go Out. See People. Live Your Lives.

Yep, I appreciate it’s going to be a few years if not longer till we reestablish any kind of post Brexit stability.

I do believe in democracy and sticking by the people’s vote though, so the sooner we make reasonable and fair progress the better in my eyes.

I'd prefer the UK to remain as part of Europe but, at the same time, accept that the democratic Brexit vote must be respected.

The vote was so close that a no deal would be unacceptable.

A soft Brexit, based on the will of the people, is what was voted for.

Deliver it you fools or do one.!!!

We'll be begging to rejoin in the next 10 years, even though we'll have lost all our opt outs. Euro, Schengen etc......

Is this one of the reasons why the Government are trying to push through the Brexit Bill in such a hurry?

With you Lala but self centred, self seeking politicians will hang this one out.

I heard a couple of days ago that Johnson had agreed a deal with the EU and was likely to get it accepted in parliament.

It's been deathly quiet since.

Likely to change again today but....

Last Saturday Parliament actually voted for the new deal, however they then rejected the Governments time table to scrutinise the bill as being too rushed. (See above post about checks on goods going from NI to the rest of the UK as an example of the Government not even sure of the bill's details).

So Bojo pulled the Bill from Parliament and wrote the letter asking for an extension passed 31st Oct (his do or die day) and a 2nd letter saying he didn't want it.

It's expected the EU will grant the extension until 31st Jan 2020 either today or Monday.

Bojo now wants a general election on the 12th Dec, which I think the opposition parties will allow once the EU confirm the extension.

To be updated later on.......

I wish today's MP's had the same moral compass as you Lala.

European leaders agree extension to 31 January. (So much for Macron saying No then).

Think MPs will now agree to a GE in December.

A general election won't solve this, it's a right dog's dinner
