Finally got rid of Carrillo 18:07 - Oct 5 with 1275 views

We had to buy up his last 2 years Of his contract but he has gone So has Hoedt only Boufal left and that’s nearly done apparently. Lemina went on loan last month so actually what a great bit of business bought all of them for around £60m and got around £5m back in transfers.

At least we have got a shed load of wages off the wage bill.

It looks like a massive net loss doesn’t it? However,in Boufal’s case he scored a couple of critical goals for us and contributed generally, which may have tipped The balance in keeping us in this division, In which case he’d be close to break even. He was also entertaining to watch at times.

Can’t see much of a silver lining in the other two though.

YOu could also argue that although they were all complete duff signings we bought VVD for 10 million and sold for 75 million.

Hopefully our more recent buys will prove to be better value for money. Certainly I am excited by Salisu and Diallo (without ever having seen them play!) as they see the sort of signings we should be making.
