Sorry but if Dykes is the answer what's the question?

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Austin is just as bad as him today.

Lenihan is a very poor centre-back, and our two boys are making heroes of him and the 12-yr old beside him.

we are doing loads of long balls today, its that because Blackburn are pressing us high or a new tactic? I would like to see us play a bit more football! Chair is mom for me for Rangers at the moment, Willock and Uncle 2nd half?

Yeah, would like to see Willers for Dykes at some point soonish. Lyndon's doing fine but we need to twist their melons a bit.

Decent 45 minutes that. Blackburn are a good side and probably had the better of it, Armstrong looking very dangerous indeed.

Dykes and Charlie have been disappointingly quiet, don't seem to be on Chair's wavelength; hoping we can fix that, and stop giving Blackburn so much space down their left.

But we've been doing some decent stuff too, Chair's playing really well (set piece delivery excluded) and without tempting fate too much I thought our back 5 have looked pretty solid so far.

Can see both teams conceding, think the first goal will be absolutely crucial. Blackburn have been sh*thousing a fair bit already, imagine that'll increase exponentially if they go ahead. Here's hoping we can attack with a bit more energy (looking forward to Willock coming on) and take our chances.

Who s the most uneffective forward we have?

Need to keep the ball in the positions we can, hard as rovers are closing everything quickly.
Need to use our possession play well and not try to look for the Hollywood ball to beat them . Grind the cnts down , be a bit more cnt I sh and disrupt their tactics of disrupting our tactics.

For all our work in the middle, there has been zero service to the front. Dykes had a few possible chances but did nothing. Austin needs service, he's not the guy who can carry the ball all the way himself anymore. The plan, and only way we will score, is to do a better job getting the ball into the box

Yes but Charlie can score in an instant. Not seen that with Dykes yet.

Yeah today, the blokes a number nine and has one goal from open play ALL season, hardly a comparison.

2: who is this years boo boy?

Pretty hard to score when you never get the ball.

In all honesty, Dykes and Bonne don't look comparable to Adomah. He's multiple levels higher in ability. Might be a different position, but still. Seems he should been that pitch somehow.

The question is 'Who do we have on our budget that can provide some form of focal point up front and work his balls off at linking up with Austin while continuing to learn his trade at this level?'

I hope Warbs brings on Albert or Willock before Charlie runs out of steam!

Would definitely bring Willock on, probably for Ball.

It is not good to dig out players.... but just saw the chair cross that Braithwaite cleared in the 6 yrd box and it was Dykes coming in.... he just doesn't seem to have any drive of wanting to get the ball... or anticipate where a ball would be delivered... a really poor player unfortunately

1. He has one goal from open play all season. He is only top scorer because he takes penalties

2. He is crap. Not heard any booing, more like questions on what the manager sees that doesnt seem to show up on the pitch

Austin didn't attack it either, to be fair.

Good spell of pressure from us at the end. Decent first half, you can see why Blackburn are where they are. Everything to play for, Warbs needs to out-think Mowbry and ensure we aren't reactive second half.

Wish you hadn’t said that. Mowbry is a very shrewd manager

Strong and stable my arse.
