The squad needed strengthening after the departures of MGW Gyorkeres and Palmer.
The board did their bit and brought in
Hourihane Morris Whitaker Aryola Freeman and Hamer.
Why has Cooper only used Hourihane and Morris before injury.
The other 4 were pointless really and this has killed us energy levels are shot.
Cooper to blame or was the recruitment poor.
Hoping he goes in the summer now his inexperience or stubborn nature has cost us. |  |

This is becoming a bit of a myth now but here we go again:
- Hamer - sub keeper, only signed due to Bendas injury, not going to dislodge the clean sheet machine Woodman.
- Arriola - came to us late and half fit after a bad injury. Didn't impress when he was given some minutes. Got injured, went back.
- Freeman - was a free agent between June last year and December last year. Then signed for Swindon struggling in league 1 and played 1 game before we signed him in January. Surely only signed as a very last resort injury crisis back up.
Whittaker - was apparently signed for the future but has shown he can contribute now. Agree he could have definitely featured more since coming. |  |

So to answer your question its a mixture of bad luck (injuries), poor recruitment (still no out and out forward, half fit players), and Cooper (ignoring Whittaker). [Post edited 5 Apr 2021 15:06]
