On 1 October, the Dale Trust spoke to Matthew Southall, disgraced ex-Charlton Chairman and the Trust reported: He stated a number of times throughout the hour long zoom call that this was a deal between himself and Morton House, and that no other approach had been made for the shares.
It's now the 6th November. Five weeks and no sign of any money from Matthew Southall, no sign of any shares and no sign of Morton House who are hiding from the EFL's investigators no doubt.
The only thing that has happened since then is a BBC article which was so wrong the BBC took it down and rewrote it.
RAFC achieved something that Prince Andrew, Owen Patterson and Boris Johnson couldn't, getting the BBC to remove a story - even if arrogant Simon Stone could not admit he was wrong to have penned it in the first place.
So where is our Dubai based hero Matthew? It's all gone suspiciously quiet from a man who likes the good things in life; ask Charlton fans about the expensive luxury central London flat overlooking the Thames or a Range Rover and they will tell you how he used Charlton as a cover for some rather expensive tastes.
Yet, a little bit like Andrew Kirk Curran, there is very little in the public domain about Matthew and his business interests - because he doesn't actually touch anything or have any money to touch anything with.
His partner Jade Katy McManus however is quite the businesswoman. Born in September 1991 and a law graduate of Newcastle University, the 30 year-old mum has lots and lots of appointments.
CURRENT APPOINTMENTS: 1. August Rae Developments Limited (registered company number: 13398441) - incorporated in May 2021 - net worth unknown
2. 17Media Ltd (registered company number: 09830875) - incorporated in October 2015 - net LIABILITIES of £18.852 at October 2019. No accounts since.
3. Love2BeHome Ltd (registered company number: 11206554) incorporated in February 2018 - net worth £1 as at February 2019. No accounts since.
RESIGNED APPOINTMENTS:
4. Live Lusso Aesthetics Limited (registered company number: 10700280) - incorporated in March 2017 - dissolved in April 2019. No accounts ever filed.
5. Sports Media Consultancy Limited (registered company number: 11645603) - incorporated in October 2018 - net work £1 as at October 2019. No accounts since and now dissolved.
So 5 companies since March 2017, two dissolved and three still alive with overall net liabilities of £18k.
It's not the greatest success record you would see at business. If Jade went on the Apprentice I'm sure it would be commented on that she "doesn't have a bleedin' clue!"
Then there is the fact that Jade Katy McManus is named by Optimus Build Limited as a party in a lost court case over building works on 11 December 2020.
Jade McManus, like Morton House, seems to like to move around. In the last few years her five businesses have operated from:
A. 5 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, United Kingdom, SK9 1HY B. 264 Leigh Road, Worsley, Leigh Road, Manchester, United Kingdom, M28 1LF. This is the address where Optimus Build Limited court case win was about. C. 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. A favourite operating address of Denise Valerie Courtnell. D. Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX - a virtual office E. 63-66, Hatton Garden, London, England, EC1N 8LE - another virtual office.
Currently "SUPERWOMAN" at only August Rae Investments. Not bad for a former jewellery shop salesperson and 10 months insurance accountant who shacked up with Matthew Southall.
August Rae investments doesn't seem to actually be able to invest in something - no deals, no pedigree. They have a lot in common with Alexander Jarvis and Blackbridge Sports Limited.
There's only one superwoman in football and she has a message for Matthew Southall:
I actually doubt Southall has more than two bob and like a lot of the Instagram generation he's quite good a taking a couple of pictures and putting them on Twitter but actually doesn't have a business.

Don't you have to pay the bills first before it is claimed back?
I vaguely recall in a former job working for a high street bank watching a training video where a form of fraud based on VAT. I can't remember the method though

Jade Katy is having a few filing problems with 17 Media Limited.
It's last published accounts are for the year ending 31 October 2019.
To try to get around the account rules, the company extended its next accounts to be for the 17 month period to 31 March 2021.
Those accounts were due on 31 December 2021.
They haven't been filed. They are currently two months and 5 days late.
On the 11th January 2022, there was a proposal to strike off which one week later was promptly rejected.
Action under Section 1000 of the Companies Act 2006 has been temporarily suspended as an objection to the striking off has been received by the Registrar.
Not going to be easy to bury a company which cover the who time that Matthew Southall was running around at Charlton charging consultancy invoices, involving large sums of VAT.
I wonder who the objector is:
(1) HM Revenue and Customs (2) Chris Farnell (3) Charlton Fans (4) Rochdale Fans

Jade Katy still hasn't got these accounts sorted for 17 Media Limited. She needs to have a word with her accountant(s). They are nearly 3 months late and there haven't been any accounts since before the global pandemic!
The company states it's activity is: 82990 - Other business support service activities not elsewhere classified
Any idea what a business like that does in providing "Business support"?
The last set of accounts for 17 Media Limited to 31 October 2019 showed an excess liability position of £18,852. In that year the business made a loss of £58,860
Why would you not file your accounts on time? What is so difficult and what might you have to fear?
If you know the answer, or someone who can help Jade Katy get these accounts into the right authorities, do feel free to write in answers on a postcard to:

McManus must have money to burn getting charged with fines like that. She could have used that money for a ski trip or an Easter trip to Disney with kids or something.
Meanwhile the creditors circle. More red letters arriving in Worsley than seen in the Stretford End on matchday.

I wonder if its a case of bills racking up, money owed racking up, pressure rising, and Matty boy needs the Dale scheme to come off so it can all be paid back.
I can't shake the thought that Andy Curran might have been a 'finance vehicle' via Morton House to lend Southall the money to get control of Dale. All sorts of money making schemes would follow (like at Charlton) to pay Curran / MH back (with interest) and try to make a tidy profit on top. & now it hasn't worked, Southall is feeling the pressure as he owes money to Curran on top of everyone else!
It would be in everyone's interest (who would have control) then for Dale to be non-league (managed relegation, anyone?) so that we weren't afforded EFL protection and the asset stripping could commence in earnest.
All speculation of course: But if it smells like a stick, looks like a stick and feels like a stick... its generally a stick.

The plastic princess is back on Instagram with a cryptic post that "This wine cooler will be getting a lot more action in the coming months" plus knowing wink.
Maybe the prospective new owners have told her that they're planning a house warming, or perhaps lover boy is involved in a hostile takeover of DiddiKicks Walkden.

Would she not better buying a wig for Baldy? I suppose if you are living with Southall and constant failing to file accounts, you would need to drink a lot.

It's all beginning to reek a bit that 17Media Ltd might not be the legitimate media company that it purports to be.
The Company was formed in October 2015 and has managed to previously file successfully 4 sets of accounts.
The financial performance: October 2016: Net worth - £1 October 2017: Net worth - £1 October 2018: Net worth - £40,008 October 2019: Net liabilities - (£18,852)
Since then: October 2020: Unknown October 2021: Unknown
HMRC, creditors and Charlton Athletic fans are looking very closely at Jade Katy's affairs, particularly as by October 2020, Matthew Southall had taken over Charlton for £1 and then was forced to sell it when he didn't have the money to continue.
I'm sure there are pretty severe penalties for knowingly trading insolvently as a company, which the last (October 2019) accounts suggested was the case......

Interestingly her Linkedin account is in the name of Jade Southall.
It claims that she was the owner of 17Media from Mar 2016 to Mar 2020.....at which point she founded August Rae Interior Studio.
Maybe Bottomley's been giving her tips on writing CVs.

When it all goes wrong, Jade is going to move her and the kids back to Daddy and Mummy and drop Southall in it faster than Tahoon Nimer did in 2020.
Matthew Southall, it transpires, is sloppier than Fat Pat's chippy leftovers with his Companies House filing and in 2016, in filing some dormant accounts for his beau he's given a big hint at the real address of Worsley operations and it isn't 264 Leigh Road, Worsley.
Subsequent to that Southall then files a further 4 change of office applications - which only list the whereabouts rather than change the actual address!
Southall noted as the presenter of the information he was filing these accounts for Jade from 61 Broadway, Worsley, M28 7FA (see Page 3 of the link above)
Now it is well know that Southall is well connected, so it makes you think who might have let him use that residential address when it wasn't the registered one.
Here's the answer from the land registry of who the owner of that property has been since 2001: https://ibb.co/gSX1RGz
James Peter McManus and Geraldine McManus.
Strangely enough, 61 Broadway, Worsley M287FA has never been registered as an office address. The registered offices of 17Media Limited have been:
On incorporation: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU
From 3rd August 2017: From 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU to 63-66 Hatton Garden Hatton Garden London EC1N 8LE
From 18th July 2018: From Lusso 5 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1HY to 63-66 Hatton Garden Hatton Garden London EC1N 8LE.
From 11th June 2019: From 264 Leigh Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 1LF, England to 63-66 Hatton Garden Hatton Garden London EC1N 8LE
From 15th February 2021: Regency Court, 62-66 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2EN, England to 63-66 Hatton Garden Hatton Garden London EC1N 8LE
Thanks to Jade and Matthew, all of the relevant addresses are listed in the public domain on the 17Media Limited Companies House page, relevant to the trading of this company.
It's only a stones throw from 264 Leigh Road, Worsley - making it easy for Matthew to spend time with his father and mother in law.
The person to thank for identifying this for us is once again Captain Sabotage, Alexander Jarvis.
Jarvis, having set up Blackbridge Sports from his parents bedroom on the Merseyside peninsula has grassed up Southall and previously Bottomley good and proper.
Who needs a posh London post box address when you are really working from a Worsley semi?
Although his media coverage has been anything other than favourable Jarvis is adamant that he WILL be working in football again. And to do that he is turned over all the gory details to all the relevant authorities.
No one likes a grass Alex and I suspect Jade will be blocking you from her Instagram the minute she works out that you have spilled the beans.

On the back of the challenge to 17 Media Limited being struck off without sending in it's accounts, it now appears that Companies House have tied up Faical Safouane and Denise Courtnell into this web of companies that could be involved in the hostile takeover of a little League 2 club without any obvious source of funds.
What links an unexplained loss of tax money for HMRC in an Essex payroll company to an unwanted hostile takeover?
The hostile takeover now however publicly just links the following 8 people:
David Bottomley (former CEO) Alexander Jarvis (deal maker extraordinaire) Andrew Curran (client of Alexander Jarvis; drives a Rolls Royce) Darrell Rose (runs a used car company; former Morton House owner and director) Faical Safoune (Morton House owner and Director) Denise Valarie Courtnell (Morton House owner and Director) Matthew Southall (has alleged deal to buy 25% of RAFC from Morton House) Jady Katy McManus (getting married in July 2022 - HOPEFULLY!)
Some of those people are going to be in Rome on 2nd July 2022 in the "wedding of the Summer!
That means that some of them will be going through UK airports to travel to Rome prior and one might imagine, coming back through UK airports after the 2nd July 2022.
Did you pack the case yourself sir?
