Agreed unless Swans come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders then any mistakes or even negative play ( passing for passing's sake, playing out from the keeper, etc ) will be jumped on by the home supporters. If we go behind, it could then get worse

I agree, but reporting that and agreeing to that are two different things. Although personally as a fan I remain slightly on his side purely because he has to succeed as he isn’t going anywhere too soon. Unless he walks or is pushed.
The Americans won’t be happy spending money to get rid of him and his coaching team when they can keep him and spend that money on players and retain a manager with a plan and a system they seem to believe in. I think that’s the bit certain people who want a return to the premier league or can’t explain why they want him out are struggling with.

Body language, when do you see this ?
If players were unhappy with RM it would show in their demeanour. For example one might a Cullen or Piroe after scoring to run over to the manager with a " Told you so" gesture. Not seeing that, funny how OHL is seeing it ?

15th last season after finishing 4th the season prior is not good progress. 16th currently and winless in 8 is not good progress.
How much are these rumoured January transfers costing? I guess the owners either back Martin further and hope for a change in fortunes or pay him off. A couple of cheap signings is probably their preferred (less costly) option that a pay out and recruitment of a new coaching team.

A good win and performance tonight. That tells me the players are capable on occasion of top notch performances. The fact they are only doing it one in 10 games leads me to believe that a different manager could get far more consistency than Martin has been able to over these last 18 months or so.

One game in 10 simply isn’t enough though. We beat a top 6 side tonight comfortably. The inconsistency is down to the manager
