Ancelotti looks like a funeral director
Modric looks like a crack addict & Tony Kroos has bags under his eyes bigger than Tesco’s.

No, this guy is.

He looks more like a Dennis Waterman stunt double for Minder!

Ortega’s their no.2 keeper and would walk into most teams in Europe. He was on the bench last night alongside Carson who’s their third choice keeper so not really relevant to my point.

Other subs included: Stones, Ake, Kovacic, Doku, Alvarez and Nunes. That’s £250m+ worth of talent sat on the bench.

Maybe it’s stretching it to say they have two world class players in every position but I don’t see any other club with the same level of squad depth. Real are closer than most but they still struggle to compete.

Real had a €100m reserve keeper on the bench, alongside Lucas Vazquez, Spains new LB Fran Garcia, Arda Güler, Joselu and Dani Ceballos all of whom didn’t get on, and the €150m+ they did bring on.

To say Real can’t compete is especially an embarrassing position to take.

Ironically, it was the original oil club (Chelsea) who paid €100m for Kepa. He’s on loan at Real Madrid so they haven’t paid anywhere near that kind of money.

The other players you’ve mentioned are youth academy products and 38 year old Modric who’s leaving at the end of this season.

I’m not sure there’s any point in carrying on this conversation if you can’t see the difference between what Man City had on their bench in comparison to Real Madrid.

Yeah, Real Madrid are as dirty as anyone.
Have the government bought any land off them recently?
