More competition for Jay Robinson? Couldn't we just buy one centre forward instead of all these attacking midfielders? I seem to recall we did something similar in the last summer transfer window. [Post edited 28 Aug 17:24]

Wingers, will still likes wingers that’s 2. One centre mid instead of downes and attacking mid to replace Fernandes, now we’ll be able to play 4-2-3-1 and bin off the 3 centre backs, all good. |  |

It seems more likely that Sport Republic are dictating the transfer policy. Will Still would surely have asked for a new centre forward. It's so obvious that we need one. | |

Several of the players we are signing look good, but we really need a new centre forward, above all else.
I suppose you could argue that SR have bought players in the 3 priority positions of centre forward, centre half and goalkeeper, in Downs, Quarshie and Long. Hopefully, they'll prove me wrong, as it looks like the Championship is there for the taking this season. [Post edited 28 Aug 17:40]
