For all that is said about them they have some fighting spirit and take their chances well. Just back from 2-0 down. Wallace is inspirational at times.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

2-3 now. And that third goal was a thing of beauty. Matos take note!

A dull game for 40 mins that came to life via an own goal.

WBA played very well second half and just seemed to click...thought they were going to get the 3rd if any team was

That's the Championship for you though - so many of my EPL supporting mates love watching this League as it p/sses all over the top flight for entertainment value and is a much more level field and they also love the fact there's no VAR....

Personally I feel we get more than our share of bad decisions and VAR would benefit us. If it was there when we were in the Premier League we would have got many more decisions and that is a fact.

Me too ,the championship is a far better watch than the PL
Listening to talksport the other day morning and one of the presenters was saying how boring the PL has gone especially with teams‘ obsessed’ with playing goal kicks sideways, resulting in turnovers or conceding and the slow ponderous build up from the back and the game now more about trying to stop your opponent playing than concentrating on your own game , he was saying how exciting it used to be when keepers played it out quickly and got the team’s attacking
Even League 2 teams are faffing about at the back now it’s killing the spectacle and excitement of football now
I love watching ‘ the big match revisited’. on TV , watching two teams getting stuck in and really going at each other other , great entertainment even if you didn’t always win

More like he moves, he shoots, he scores.

Lovely movement in that goal which I’d love to see us do more of especially in that area of the pitch.

Got to have the players with a skills base to do that.

There are still Boro fans who are saying the jury is out on Hellberg.

It’s not that difficult and our players should be up for it. It starts on the training field. Not criticising Matos genuinely but this is the sort of style we should be trying to foster.
