'There were some blatantly poor decisions. I feel aggrieved it's ended up 0-0 in a game that was disrupted by them in a number of ways. How teams can get away with that in this day and age is beyond me.'

I guess, for some people, his view will be deemed worthless too. Even though, for those of us who can feel footballing shame, he's right.

Meanwhile, our manager's latest excuse on the BBC is to blame the fact that it's the winter - you couldn't make it up! I suppose even he's got bored of reminding us of our handful of injuries, three-day weeks, and other forms of special pleading.

If I'm the Oxford manager, I'm rubbing my hands together right now.

Poll: What d'ya expect from our last 3 holiday games (WBA(A), Norwich(H), Sheff W(H))?

At certain times, fan love is transcended by love of football. It has to be.

If we can't all come together and agree - Stoke, QPR, Arsene Wenger, John Sitton - that Saturday was a gobf*ck in anti-football, the game's gone.

PS Which it probably has anyway.

Why should we all come together and agree though? Some people will have a different opinion. Remember, you are just giving yours. If they don't agree they shouldn't then have to put up with your condescending snipes about you obviously being the only with standards or some just being happy with the what the club serve to them

I actually love that we gave them a taste of their own medicine to be honest.

Over the years we have been bullied by big physical teams like Stoke, Millwall and last year Portsmouth.

How many of us genuinely expected to get a point away to Stoke on Saturday given our injuries and their current form. I certainly didn't.

Sometimes, you just need to grind a result out and keep a clean sheet.

"Sometimes, you just need to grind a result out and keep a clean sheet".

Indeed, and especially when both your most creative midfielder and best striker are out.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Your're right. Saturday's game was a triumph in pragmatism; the fact that it disgusted the opposition manager, their fan base, and, whisper it, even one or two here who have footballing souls is hilarious and of no import; and that it leaves us one point closer to 16th is an indisputable victory for the sport. We need more goalkeepers sitting down for 10m, 25% possession stats, players who can't/won't pass the ball more than 3 times in succession, and leg-breaking challenges on centre forwards. And it's lovely to screw fans financially to watch that garbage - especially when you've got the excuse of a humungus 3/4 players out to justify it.

You couldn't make fans like you up!
