And it wasn’t as if he just “got in the way” - he anticipated and moved about 4 feet in the blink of an eye to even get there. The reactions of his team mates said it all. He looked razor sharp and was unlucky not to score twice. Fast and robust he looks like a bargain - and all of a sudden we have three very different top class strikers at our disposal. What a season this could turn out to be!

I agree, an excellent contribution all round.

If he’d gone down it would probably have been a penalty and red card if VAR was in place. A good example of the ‘dark arts’ of defending. Great run though.

It was fantastic but it was his reaction to it that summed him up, he just told his congratulators to switch on. [Post edited 14 Oct 15:45]

A good, experienced pro, leading by example.

It really helps to have a few old heads around, I quite liked Joel Ward's approach to defending get close to the attackers or marshall them into touch. I noticed that Lissah is not getting caught out recently holding up attacks and allowing Yeo time to get back and help out.

I'd probably play him ahead of Vipotnik, he's got a better all round game for me, he was everywhere when he came on, looks like he's got plenty of goals in him as well, big, quick and can play.

In that case our 3rd choice striker was last years top scorer in the Championship. Seems to prove my point.

Listening to the excellent Only Swans podcast around deadline day, they were talking about big bids bids for Vipotnik and made the very fair point that Vipotnik, Idah and Stewart was probably too much, while if he had gone, Idah and Stewart wouldn’t be enough, especially given Stewarts injury record. Matos has surely got one of the best strike forces in the championship, but it must be tough for him to keep them all happy.

Vipotnik seems to have regressed, we need him firing on all cylinders.

What's the old saying, you're only as good as your last game.

The summer's speculation has probably blunted him for now at least and him only getting the odd start probably isn't helping, but Idah's work rate and overall play has/is keeping him out and it'll be interesting now after Stewarts performance last night, although in Swans want to get good money for Vipotnik he needs to play, bit of a double edged sword situation.
