Greggs own brand mnince pies are a step up if anyone fancies giving them a try.

I’ll second that. Baked every morning in store. 6 for £2.69 at my local Greggs. Delish with a morning cuppa

"the place was full of Christmas gear". I popped into Dobbies garden centre yesterday and had to traverse the Christmas section to get to the garden stuff. If anyone is interested, they were selling a life size reindeer covered in yellow LED lights. Yours for only £799. Yikes!

I invested in some Philips Festavia lights last Christmas, for the tree. I thought they were an extravagant spend at £150.

Christmas season can't start until after Remembrance, i.e., 12th Nov.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end
