When we all started to use the #RAFC hashtag, we were the only ones using it but in recent months we're being swamped with Belgian tweets and tweets from some Welsh Sunday league and an amateur team somewhere. These days you have to rake through a bunch of belgian stuff to find the odd Dale related tweet. If like me you have a permanent search set up to catch #RAFC tagged tweets then I'm guessing you find this as frustrating as I do.
I think we have to find our own unique hashtag that isn't likely to be highjacked and used by any other group with the initials RAFC. I suggest #DALEAFC.
Anyone else agree, or have any suggestions, or do you think it should be left alone leaving us to trawl through the crap we don't want to read? |  | | |  |

#Rochdale is too specific to the town plus there is a town in the states called Rochdale.
#Dale is already used for all kinds of crap, we'd be better off with the Belgians!

Thing is Ken, the Belgian tweets are increasing all the time, we're already getting at least 3 Antwerp tweets to 1 Dale, How long before its 5 or 10? Not to mention the times Dale tweets are outnumbered by the Welsh sunday league stuff. I can't be arsed trawling through it. Yes.
#dale #upthedale #thedale are all being used by others already leaving...
#daleafc #rochdaleafc and #twitterdale. I think the last two are too long personally.
