Burgess tried to claim it wasn't a penalty on Saturday as the ball was going out of play. I think he's right in that respect but surely the question he should be asking himself is why he made such a stupid challenge when the ball was going out of play.

Thought the same actually, Lund was definately looking for the penalty and was very clever but it was clearly a daft foul by the young lad.

how is anthony elding still in league one?

The photos tweeted by dysporting show the challenge well, ball looks like its out of play. Stupid challenge

Watched the replay several times and although I think there may little too much pace on the ball for Lund to stop it from going out, it is a close one - Lund is never more than a foot away from it until he's on the deck, even with him being upended. Clear cut penalty, silly challenge.

Dale Fan - Clear cut penalty

Hartlepool fan - Harsh never a penalty in a million years

Thats football we all see things differently.

At least thats us +1 o n the decision stakes!! no doubt we will have one against us soon enough.

Back to Trotman, maybe he has improved and got fitter since his time with us? Couldnt be any bleedin worse.

Sheridan was very unhappy with Plym's defeat on Saturday......worst they have been since he arrived to save them.....(see Sky's report)

......let's hope they are still crap in a couple of weeks!

Sheridan has been gushing about how good Trotman was for him at Chesterfield

When he played for Chesterfield at Spotland up against Adebola, he looked great. For 80 mins, he did everything right, and didn't put a foot out of place. Then for the last ten mins, we stuck George on, and he went to pieces when up against genuine pace.
