Besiktas are very likely to be chucked out, but yes, Pandurii winning in Braga would confirm it as well.

It depends what they do with the lucky loser too, if the lucky loser has a higher coefficient than us will they put them in a higher pot? Or will they have to be in pot 4? That would be the fairest outcome in my opinion.

Wigan are above us because they qualified as cup winners, so they're ranked higher than us.

As I understand it, if Pandurii win in Braga, or AZ lose tomorrow, or Besiktas are thrown out, we're in pot 2. The only caveat being if a lucky loser comes back in who are ranked above us, we might get shifted back to pot 3. I don't think we'll know for sure until they announce it in the morning.

Watching the Braga/Pandurii game in the hotel now :D

Goal Pandurri! That's pot 2 confirmed for us I believe.

The teams that would have knocked us out were the ones who were above us previously, so Braga, Udinese, Spartak Moscow, Stuttgart, St. Etienne and Partizan Belgrade.

Call me old fashioned but Kazakhstan and Israel are not in Europe. Turkey is at a push and you could mayebe put in a case for Georgia and Azerbazjan if you reeeeealy push the boat out. I can't be arsed to google it but for us Canada is probably closer than bloody Kazakhstan.

According to Wikipedia: Europe is generally divided from Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian and Black Seas, and the waterways connecting the Black and Aegean Seas.

Therefore:
-Kazakhstan is partly in Europe and partly in Asia (mostly Asia) divided by the Ural River.
-Turkey (and its capital) is partly in Europe and partly in Asia (mostly Asia) divided by the Bosphorus.
-Georgia is not in Europe being south of the Manych River in the Kuma-Manych Depression.
-Azerbazjan is not in Europe. Same as above.
-Armenia is also not in Europe. Same as above.
-Israel is not even close to being in Europe.
