Given that the clubs are supposed to be wroked like businesses, it's pretty obvious why the clubs doesn't care or even feel annoyed by the national teams.
They don't get proper compensated for the risks involved to their assets, and as shown in the williams/davies issue with the friendly right before one of our 'big' matches, the national teams show with all clearness that they don't care about the clubs their players come from either.
Would be silly to expect the clubs to care for the national teams under those circumstances. | |
