How do you mean, is it not just using the reported death figures by each country?

Many countries are not reporting deaths from care homes, some aren't reporting deaths in other settings, some aren't reporting accurate figures, other countries are just blatantly lying. We are 2 weeks behind mainland Europe on the curve. See where we are in 2 weeks but I don't get the obsession with comparing us to other countries as there are so many variables.

Last 7 days per million people on 09:39 - May 26 with 923 views | Sadoldgit | Irrespective of a mortality league table, north of 37,000 have died of this virus in this country. Despite knowing how dangerous this virus is, the government still allowed large sporting events to go ahead and dragged their heels over locking down the country. The PM himself boasted of shaking hands with infected people and spread the virus himself. His senior advisor broke the rules too and instead of isolating, put others at risk by driving miles across the country. The numbers aren’t great but they are the major factor here. The big story is of total government incompetence that has led to a greater loss of life.
