Is there a more awkward ground to get to in the Premier League, a nice stadium and I like the fact you can hand around after and have a beer whilst the train queues die down, but if you are in a hurry it must be a pain.

Was it like the flat piss served up at St Mary’s Stadium?

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

It was a great pint of lager served in a beautiful plastic cup that you could take home as a memento of your visit to the Amex

On all my previous trips I've hung around for a couple of beers after, but on this occasion, thought I'd try my luck with the train queues and head straight back into Brighton. Left bang on the final whistle and did circumnavigate the stadium pretty swiftly, but was surprised we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before we were on a train back into town. Was expecting it to be so much worse.

Have to also say, the fact there was no direct train actually made the journey a lot more pleasant. A lot more choices of trains to catch going via Clapham and a lot less busy, so although longer, had a nice table seat on all legs of the journey no problem.
