I don’t see the point in actually bothering. With his age and experience, if he can’t implement a way of playing that kids from City’s academy can master in a couple of weeks, he must be a dud. |  |

I said at the time it was a bad signing. He snubbed us last season for WBA because he squinnied about only wanting to play in midfield whereas Ralph wanted him to be flexible.
Maitland-Niles is another poncy addition to our squad who we could do without. He's the classic over-paid, Billy Bigbollix, "After leaving Arsenal - any lesser club I go to is lucky to have me" pleb. Still, as long as a club like Saints are paying his over-inflated wages each week, that's all he'll care about. I shall die laughing if he comes out in an official site interview in a fortnight's time & gives it the old "I'm working really hard & desperate to get back into Gareth's England squad" guff.
