A comment which I occasionally read on this forum.
The evidence:
GK: Bazunu v Forster - Forster had well-documented difficulties, but I can’t recall him letting in two howlers like the Lincoln goal and the first goal yesterday.
CB: Bella-Kotchap and Caleta-Car v Bednarek and Jack Stephens - our two new CB’s look stronger on paper, but does our goals conceded column bear this out?
CM: Lavia v Romeu: Lavia looks a great player, but has hardly played, and JWP looks worse without Oriol
CF: Mara v Broja: the most painful comparison of all. Mara looks a League 1 player. Not suited to English football at all. Broja was a real threat and brought our midfield up the pitch with him.
Factor in a loss of form for JWP, KWP and nobody improving at all (with possible exception of Che) and it’s an absolute sh1t storm. |  |
