Should I be worried that once again yesterday, we seemingly have a manager who picks a poor starting line up, then changes it later to a much better system and balance? Will he start with the much better Sugawara, Edwards and Wellington? I appreciate maybe he cannot start Robinson in every game. But are we peasants unaware of this tactic all our managers seem to have of playing a weaker side first and then changing it to a better side later? Is it some clever tactic managers use these days as it seems to happen a lot with saints. |  | | |

Yes, the England Women's team won a tournament using it.
The final 20 minutes of games are when most goals are scored. Last season we used to bring our worst players, like Smallbone, on then, and concede late goals. |  |

OK, but by starting with a weaker team we always seem to be chasing a game and never able to win. Surely this is not thus a great tactic to use. We ended up 0-2 until we started to click with changes. Not much of a tactic. | | | |

I thought the same as you, but it seems to get results, including a surprising one yesterday in a game we expected to lose heavily. | |
