Whose motto is "Embrace failure." Give it a big hug, Rasmus, you have exceeded your wildest expectations. There is nothing left to prove so you may leave now and take RM as your parting bonus so that you may continue to fail in style |

There has always been cheating. If there weren't, there would be no need for referees. Historically, there were players who were on the fiddle and with the amount of money now in the "game", it is inconceivable to me that there are not approaches made to officials, probably by gamblers. Suspicious refereeing decisions serve only to reinforce my conviction that summat ain't right, last night's blatant abuse of the VAR process being only the current case in point. The least we should expect from officials is even handedness and yet, it doesn't appear that anybody thinks that is what we are getting. With the system marking its own homework, it is time for questions to be asked of the pundits why these suspicious decisions are not being called out and investigated. A referee's cockup league on MOTD would be a start and perhaps hold the officials to account. |

Half past seven in your timezone, BBC playing the clip of RM telling the world that he has been let down, it is all the players' fault and they lack spirit. Would somebody show this narcissistic tvvat the door NOW, please? Despite being told that he is popular with the players, he has clearly lost their confidence. Furthermore, when was the last time one of our squad picked up a training injury? Far too long ago for me to believe that they are being trained to PL levels of fitness. Half of them are only good for the first thirty minutes. WGS would have crucified them! |

So we voted for it. A mistake in my view. I do not think it has improved football but MONEY did all the talking. |

Suppose we will have to keep Russell now. Well done! |

Not so much a transfer fee but there will be competition in the market for the services of Adrian Newey, The best F1 car designer since Colin Chapman and quite likely the best of all time. Ferrari will pay any money to get him for the 2026 season, having secured the services of Sir Lewis Hamilton so I reckon that Mr. Newey can look forward to a lucrative bidding war (at which point the absolutely corrupt FIA will change the design rules again!) |

Government governance of the game. Long overdue, I have heard some say. Be careful what you wish for... What could possibly go wrong? Sir Humphrey: "Minister: Due to the disproportionate nature of the player to official ratio, teams will be reduced to six players to allow for an equal number of referees at six per side. potential buyers who will have deposited £10M into party funds will automatically be considered to have demonstrated that they are fit and proper owners. In order to reduce costs and tribalism, all teams will wear only white shorts and either yellow or green shirts, the colour of which will be changed at half time. Ticket prices will be capped at £2,500 and rise with inflation + 20% annually. Any team not achieving its performance targets will have funding halved and should no improvement be measured over the next season, be placed into special measures by reducing the number of players on the pitch to four. Simple and practical improvements throughout. I'm sure that your bill will speed through the house." [Post edited 19 Mar 9:07]
