Back in 1976 Manchester City beat Newcastle United at Wembley to win the League cup.

A couple of months later Southampton beat Manchester United at Wembley to win the FA Cup

Could the winners of these two trophies be exactly the same pairing as 50 years ago.

Funnily enough my first visit to Wembley was the aforementioned League cup final, my second the 1976 FA Cup final
