I didnt know a lot about Kim Hellberg so I looked on wikipedia and it seems he is a cross between Will Still & Russell Martin.
But is he doing a good job at Middlesbrough ?
Initially yes, he won his first 4 League games, then in the next 10 he won 6, drew 3 and lost just 1.
So 33 points out of 42 was a good start.
But in the following 15 up to the final game of the regular season, he won just 4, drew 7 and lost 3.
So 19 points out of 45.
It seems that he has made Boro hard to beat, but they can't win games, as we saw on Saturday they pass the ball around a lot but have no end product.
So it could be said that his initial success was the momentum built up by his predecessor, but in the last 15 he has a points average of 1.26 per game, so over a 46 game season it's 57/58 points per season.
In the season just gone that would have got him to 15th to 16th place.
So is his ranting a sign that he is feeling the pressure, if he doesn't get Boro up, then will his job be in peril, especially if Wolves sack former Boro boss Rob Edwards |  |
