Have they had it all along? Sounds promising though.

We can only hope so, but lets wait for firm evidence.
A vaccine is the 'golden ticket'.

It ruins the story by mentioning that it's a Chinese firm.

Wait. Maybe it's a good one set up with France by Barnier when he was the foreign minister.........

The Oxford University vaccine may be ready sooner. It is clear that there will be a vaccine at some point. You may need boosters every 3 years or so, but it will work. The technology and understanding has come a very long way in the last 10 years.

It is laughably suspicious ... but whatever, let's all get jabbed up, hurry up.

I don't know that it is all that suspicious.
They had SARS and Covid-19 is a very similar virus. the technology that would work for a SARS vaccine would be immediately adaptable for Covid-19

Didn’t think that there was a vaccine for SARS yet?

I think this is great news. It's being reported by Sky News, so it sounds like there is some substance to the story and the good thing is the Chinese have said they will make it available to other countries and that includes us whereas if it had been developed in the USA, the rest of the world wouldn't have been allowed to have any.

This is great news if true, but the earliest timeframe for a vaccine was at least a year away. Hopefully this is kosher.

There wasn't the need for one as it burned out pretty quickly, but a lot of work on the virus towards a vaccine was done and continued being worked on. All that is relevant to Covid-19
