Played their first game in the championship and lost 2-0 so a harsh lesson, there was a crowd of 2,444 at St Mary's, decent enough pre this summer, but I would say a disappointment given the hype, this was the first game so perhaps the one with the most interest.

Interesting too see whether the crowds will hold up and even if they do whether they will continue to play at St Mary's given that there will be a lack of atmosphere and the high cost of doing so.

The interest will wane in my opinion. People just arn't interested, like they are for the men's team. People love their teams with a really passionate allegiance (the men's teams) as we know, and have done for over 100 years. People want crunching tackles, the atmospheres the banter with away fans. This isn't going to change, no matter how much they try. Good luck to them, but playing in front of 30 000 empty seats must be rather disheartening.

Interest in the England national team, in a final is one thing, domestic games quite another.
