Just saw something that said that you can't go into St Mary's on your own if you are under 14.
That is a little sad, I started going when I was 10 and i went with other kids from my junior school, queued up at the Milton Road boys gate and got in the ground about 1pm, it was an event and there were loads of other kids the same age without adults.
Some of us like me didn't have an adult to go with if the ban on unaccompanied U14's was in place back then I probably wouldnt have seen Saints till I was 14.
It was more dangerous for kids back then, loads of fighting in the ground and not uncommon for away fans to throw a few punches at your etc.

Do they still have Junior Saints? Used to get dropped off at that building in the corner of the Dell car park and we’d go across together. Also remember we used to play Saturday morning against the visiting team in 5 a side games, guess that doesn’t happen anymore. |  | | |

I kmow it used to happen when they first went to St Mary's as there was an indoor space at the rear of the Chapel end where that happened, at some stage though that stopped. | |
