But during them a Team A player shouts some foul and abusive language towards you, so you decide to send them off. This means that Team A is down to 6 players during the kicks from the penalty mark. What happens now?
Q3= Team A are on the attack, a Team A player has a shot on goal. The shot flies past the keeper, and is clearly going into the net. But a Team B defender is present and clearly attempts to handball the ball on the line to deny a goal, but the shots too powerful so the ball just pushes the hand out of the way and goes into the back of the net, after clearly striker the defenders hand. A1= A goal, as even since the KO’s changed a few years back it’s been legal.
A2= The penalty kicks continue, with Team B having to select another player to sit out for the remaining penalty’s, as the minimum of 7 players requirement is not mandatory for kicks from the penalty mark.
A3= Award the goal and give a cautioning to the Team B defender, as it’s only yellow because he attempted a DOGSO handball, which would be a red card, but as he failed and the goal was awarded it is reduced to just a cautioning. | |
