City fans have made the same mistake that Saints' fans have: their most vocal fans have moved into a corner next to the away fans, which is the worst location in terms of acoustics and where they are easily drowned out.
If anyone still believes the old chestnut they offer that by doing that they are outsinging or intimidating the away fans, you only have to go to the Etihad or St Mary's to see that isn't true. They just become figures of fun for the away fans to laugh at. [Post edited 2 Apr 2023 12:28]
