Many here might be surprised to hear that the manager was forced to play certain players in certain games too. I know that happened from a reliable source. Why did the manager play him there and him in that game? He was forced to because the owners wanted profit on players the computer said would become as good as Messi. Jones comment of "No more pandering to other people" was a part of this. But it sounds like they have learnt this isn't the way forward, so things should change next season.
