Is Lis Back? 18:31 - Jul 6 with 1025 viewsButty101

After an incredible 9 games on loan for the mighty Troyes last season. He must be ready to start on goal this season. Or does he need a bit more loan time. No rush he has 4 more years on his contract.

Oh Lis has gone out on Loan to Goztepe, who are conveniently owned by Southampton owners Sport Republic.

Nothing dodgy here....

You are right nothing dodgy, Brighton's owner who is lauded on here as the benchmark for club ownership is also owner of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, I think Brighton players have gone there and vice versa

So whats the benefit for Saints? He has a similar playing career to McCarthy with regards to playing time. Never going to be good enough and we are stuck with him for another 4 years.

Last time i checked Brighton were on a up would curve and so cant do much wrong. We are on a downward spiral so everything is scrutinised.

The Brighton owner bought them in 2018 when they had just finished 15th in their first Premier League season, they finished 17th, 15th & 16th in the next three, so they were hardly on an upward spiral when they started the relationship, so it must have been beneficial to eventually see them on that upward spiral
