Nathan Wood on Bench for Swans tonight 23:01 - Aug 29 with 1308 viewsGRIM

Am I reading too much into it, but was Nathan Wood left out of the Swansea team tonight, (he was an unused sub) because he's on his way to Saints. ?
Also Aberdeen are looking to sign a new striker, would that be because they are losing one to Saints.
We'll find out this week.
I concerned that all of the players we are losing are being replaced with cheaper inferior quality players.
The squad that we will be left with just may be able to get us promoted but would have no chance of keeping us in Premiership.

A mediocre Swansea team that finished 15th and 10th in the Championship under Martin only had two above average players: Piroe and Grimes. Why on earth would we want any of their other players unless we were aiming for mid-table or trying to help Swansea improve their squad?

Leeds about to Sign DJed Spence too so we may go for Cody Drameh who has refused to sign a contract at Leeds.

We need good Championship players to get out of the championship. Good premier league players will not get us out of this league because many wouldn’t put in the effort as they would feel it’s all beneath them. Fraser and Holgate have points to prove which makes them good signings.

I would love to get Wood and Drameh and maybe Paintsil. Keep Adams another good Championship player.
