Chelsea have their points deduction scrapped on appeal. Just a small fine for their 72 breaches!!! The haves and the have nots. One rule for them, another rule for usm Don't you just hate what football has become.
Yet, we are still waiting to hear. If they ban Tonda and disrupt / destroy our season a few days before the season starts, I am ready for mutiny!!! Get games abandoned etc.

Chelsea have the advantage of being punished a long time after the event, so there was little pressure on the FA from the media or other clubs, unlike the Gibbo-orchestrated witch hunt Saints have been subjected to. You're right. But isn't it interesting how Chelsea appeal their points deduction and they win the appeal yet we lost our appeal. Someone has had a word and put a few notes in front of an FA member. | |

It’s gone in Chelsea’s favour because they are one of the top six clubs and the powers that be want them to remain so.
Much the same as Man City having multiple charges against them which never get dealt with or Manure allegedly being billion of pounds in debt but still being able to buy players.

Yes, these decisions are heavily influenced by power and money. It's usually the smaller, poorer clubs that get hammered with the heaviest punishments.
The people on these disciplinary panels are all doing it for the money, not because they want to see fair play.
If Man City and Pep Guardiola had done something similar before the FA Cup Final, for example, there would only have been a fine. They certainly wouldn't have been thrown out or banned. [Post edited 31 Jul 16:00]
