1. Munster was a nice place good beer and friendly, but the ground was a couple of miles out of the city
2. I don’t know who was paying but they were handing out tokens for free beer after the game, they were quite liberal in doing so, so quite a few people had 4 pints or more for free.
3. The ground had only 3 sides with the 4th one being built it wasn’t a massive ground but when finished should be quite good
4. You had to pay 2 euros deposit for a plastic cup when you got a beer, quite a few people did not realise this, so it was quite common to see a Saints supporter heading to the bar having cleared up half a dozen discarded cups to get 2 euros x 6
5.The trains in Germany were cheap, you could get a 5 person day ticket for 59 euros, so for 4 of us it was less than 15 euros each and that also included all transport at either end, trams buses and underground |  |
