 | Forum Reply | With Trump’s 25% tariff on cars, is it time that we stopped buying Teslas? at 22:29 31 Mar 2025
We already have 37 F35's delivered from an initial order of 48. Add to that we have just recently taken delivery of the 48th, 49th and 50th Boeing Apache attack helicopters from the USA - and you can see that the Yanks do alright out of it. And then there's Trident. Although the warheads are made in the UK, the missiles themselves are made in America. No wonder two-tier is trying to negotiate a separate tariff deal with old Donny. |

Thankfully they're filming the next series as I type. Brilliant series - right up my street. Gary Oldman has always been a terrific actor. Might well give the books a look - not that I get much time to read these days. Funny really, when I was at sea for 12-years all those years ago, I always had a book in my hand & was never without one. I must have read (literally) hundreds & hundreds of books - mainly because I had a lot of down time in which to do so, being stuck on an ocean somewhere around the globe. Alas, I honestly don't think I've read a book now for... twenty years? Shameful really. |

Slow Horses. Best series I've watched in ages. |

On the subject of really REALLY good telly - if you haven't watched it, I'd highly recommend Landman starring Billy Bob Thornton. On the other side of the coin, I wasted 3 hours watching The Brutalist at the weekend because the reviews were so good. But jeez, what a long, boring, over-hyped crock of sh1t. |
 | Forum Reply | Ross Stewart, what’s wrong this time ? at 13:10 21 Mar 2025
"There appeared to be light at the end of the tunnel for Stewart in recent weeks, when he played 45 minutes for Southampton under-21s recently. Having not made any further appearances since, it has been revealed that his recovery has been ‘scaled back’ on advice from the club’s medical team after they noticed a reaction to his injury. |
 | Forum Reply | Ivan Juric Positioning Himself To Continue In Southampton Job at 12:09 18 Mar 2025
Yeah, I read a bit about this yesterday with Fabrizio Romano saying Ivan Juric really wants to continue in his role next season. "Look, I'm told that he really wants to continue. He wants to follow this project, also next season, restarting from the Championship, trusting young players. And Ivan Juric is a manager - we know him very well in Italy - who needs some time in pre-season in order to make an impact. "It was already a very complicated situation at Southampton, but Ivan Juric is not the kind of coach who arrives in October, in November, and can change the situation. He needs time. He needs pre-season. He needs to bring his methods in terms of training." https://www.givemesport.com/southampton-ivan-juric-future-update-fabrizio-romano |

Agree 100% with that article. We have absolutely nothing to lose right now. Juric is so out of his depth - so clueless - that we simply could not do any worse by handing over the job to Rusk & Lallana for the remainder of the season. Infact, we'd probably see a slight improvement amongst the players as I'm pretty sure they've all had enough of him (Juric) too. |

Juric doesn't know his arse from his elbow. The sooner he's gone, the better. Five at the back & no striker on the pitch? Fu(king negative c0ck. |

No out & out striker in the starting eleven although two sat on the bench. Juric is a strange one... |
