Overall, I was pleased with the team performance. The plan seemed to be not to try to compete to keep possession but to try to hit them on the break. It worked.
Ings, Redmond and Sims linked up surprisingly well, and although Ings did not score, he linked up our pacy pair very well, and despite not having much possession we could have scored a hatful of goals.
Yet again great game management from Ralph, and a great result against a very talented Wolves team. |

Very pleased with the result, despite the tense end to the game. I thought we bossed it and the Lemina dominated the game with his energy and determination. It looked like the team played for each other and it seemed that they were determined to score - rather than the normal 'passing the ball around the box' with nobody taking the responsibility to shoot. The away support was great! Well done all, and let's take the positives into the L'Pool game. COYS!!! |

It seems to me that whilst Saints have been practising their passing, other teams e.g. Pompey & Reading, have been practising putting the ball in the back of the net.
Still, what's done is done. Still 9 points to play for!
