Every week he is the same. I used to let it bother me, but now I just laugh at him. He has 3 other stooges who stand with him, none of whom celebrated our goal. I`m sure they prefer to see us losing, so they can shout more ridiculous remarks. "Down the channels"!
Another cracker was, "No wonder we can`t score goals, we never shoot".

P.S. Thought it amusing to see people singing and dancing in Scotland at news of her death. Not one of them looked above 25 years old which tells a story in itself.
Many people showing their colours next week will be an embarrassment to the nation, you can bet on it. |

Or anyone else. Only Edwards, SCS and Kennedy can come out of that game, with any satisfaction. Lillis (their goal apart) saved us from an embarrassing defeat. I feel sorry for Hill, he has a hell of a job on in the summer, cos 90% of his current squad aren't good enough and don't even show that they want to be here. |

Yeah Grimes is talented ... sometimes, when he feels like it, which isn't often and too often he is a passenger with a work rate that doesn't come anywhere near. He scores the odd great goal but isn't a team player. We can't afford lazy players in a relegation fight so the sooner he's gone the better. His body language tonight shows he does give a fook and it isn't the first time. The manager will have learned a lot about the garbage he has to work with this week.
If Grimes is as talented as people think he should be able to play anywhere. |

You were, are and always will be the epitome of all that is good about football and Rochdale AFC. A true gentleman both on and off the field. You will always be my hero.

A stand in honour of the greatest player ever to pull on a Dale shirt, would be very fitting. If not possible then perhaps the fans could all contribute to a statue similar to the ones at MU and Leeds, paying tribute to their legends. I am sure Reg posed when firing in one of his rocket shots would be suitable. It is how I will always remember him. At 74 which is quite young in this day and age, it is a bit of a shock and very saddening to many here and in Devon and Cornwall.
A true great and a gentleman who played the game the way everyone should play. Hard but honest and fair. Never will a greater legend wear the shirt of Rochdale AFC.
Sincere condolences to his family.

Could perhaps do that and issue a half season ticket (which by the time the season starts they will have paid a fair bit towards). I reckon it would have to start May not June as May we usually have very few games. Then the other half in January. Just thinking aloud, don't beat me up 'bout it.  |

Thanks again for a great report R17ALE. I had questioned Marj if you had gone, but she seemed to think not. Obviously doesn't think you are as mad as we know you are! As you say finally a clean sheet (first away all season) so it has to be a good sign. Glad you got back safely, doesn't look like it is stopping any time soon either does it?!
