Maybe its just me but I cant recall anyone mentioning how high a press we had in the first half , someone posted running around like headless chickens but that headless chicken routine certainly kept Portsmouth hemmed into teir own half and forced quite a few errors Considering we played a tough match on Saturday and Portsmouth didn't then I thought our work rate was at times exceptional . |

I sort of summarised that with my comments about the substitutions seemingly not weakening the side , when you consider the chance that Cullen skied into the South stand , we still seemed to be an attacking threat going forward. |

Forecast is not to bad with a few showers predicted and the winds easing , Storm whatever its called arrived later than predicted so take a mac with you.
The one benefit from my personal perspective , the lower the attendance the more chance of me parking nearer the ground and less of a walk .Hopefully we win tonight and there'll be a spring in my step on the way back to the horse. |

IMO They can have as many wives as they like as long as the state doesn't pay them and limit the kids to no more than 4 who can have child benefit and that should be means tested. |

A few have commented on how the subs didn't add anything to the match , imo they didn't cost us the result , slotted into their respective positions without any apparent weakness and I thought it was interesting to see Matos having faith in his decisions when he could have kept the majority of substituted players on to see the match out . |

An interesting conundrum for Miliband, what does he do as the Falkland Isles have come into an ocean of oil "The Sea Lion field that the Falklands is preparing to exploit is thought to contain up to 1.7bn barrels of oil – larger than anything remaining in UK waters"
To allow drilling would make a mockery of what he's done so far to see thousands of jobs lost and the continuing loss of confidence that this shite show of a government.

There was one moment earlyish in the first half when Stamenic had received the ball in our half and went to turn and play a pass backwards and the crowd around me made one extremely loud sigh followed by a cry of " forward" , he did play the pass forward and that for me was his turning point in the match because then on in he looked to play forward at any available moment. |

Couldn't fault his effort, commitment & no little skilful play today my MoM for the first half ,tired during the second and not so effective but yes for me and a few around me today I thought he was very good. |
